I brought in my vehicle as the "check engine" light had come on. They ran the diagnostics and it was an emissions problem. The staff explained that most of the time it was due to the gas cap. So they replaced the gas cap without doing further expensive testing and told me to bring it back if the check engine light came back on. They also told me the cost of additional testing and showed me on a computer screen all of the parts that make up the emissions on the car. I appreciated the explanation of the emissions system and the common sense approach of ruling out the most common reasons for the check engine light without costing me additional money. The check engine light has not returned so I believe my new gas cap was the correct choice!
